Introduction

We’re proud to be shortlisted at the Security & Fire Excellence Awards 2020 for Security Software Product Innovation of the Year. Our entry centred on SIRV Decision Trees; a digital, auditable version of Assignment Instructions (AIs) that helps Security Officers follow up-to-date procedures with clarity and confidence.

The problem

During the coronavirus pandemic, official guidance evolved rapidly. Traditional paper AIs were hard to update and slow to distribute, creating uncertainty for frontline teams and risk for organisations.

Inspired by aviation decision support, SIRV converts procedures into fixed-structure, step-by-step flows:

We published free COVID-19 decision trees aligned to government guidance to support security teams at speed, while enabling clients to tailor flows to local needs.
